I stumbled upon a post on tilde.news today about the old computer challenge. I’ve read about this challenge previous years but I haven’t taken part. This year I’m joining in.
My plan is to use my old Asus eeePC 701. It has a mobile celeron 900mhz cpu, 512mb ram and 4gb of disk. Since it has a very small screen and keyboard I will hook it up to an old external crt monitor, an external keyboard and a mouse. This is probably not cheating since there are no rules about it being a laptop.
The goal is to write a small post here every day to describe the experience.
Stay tuned.. :)
